Getting Started

From first ore to your first powered machine.

1. Mine Echocite. Echocite Ore generates across the Overworld and drops Raw Echocite (use a stone pickaxe or better).
2. Make Echo Ingots. Smelt Raw Echocite → Echo Ingot, or crush it in a Compressor for 2× Echocite Dust (then smelt). Echo Ingot is the core material.
3. Build the core. Craft a Resonant Coil, a line of Wave Conduit, and a Compressor. Connected by conduit, they form one network.
4. Feed it sound. A Resonant Coil charges from nearby note blocks, anvils, bells, and mob deaths — see Ambient Capture.
5. Read the grid. Craft a Light Meter and right-click any device.
